Founder of Vianney Vocations
Sam has worked in Catholic communications for over twenty years, serving hundreds of parishes, schools, and dioceses. As a seminarian for the Diocese of Savannah, and then as vice-president of a Catholic communication company, he saw the need to bring new energy and vision to promote vocations. He founded Vianney Vocations in 2009 to serve Vocation Offices and offer high-quality vocation resources. Sam edited the influential books To Save a Thousand Souls, Discerning Religious Life, and A Living Sacrifice and has developed many other vocation resources used in Catholic schools and parishes. Sam has degrees in English Literature and writing from Berry College and also attended Franciscan University of Steubenville. He loves fishin', gardening, golf, and watching soccer (go Spurs!). He lives in Tallahassee, FL with his wife Michele and their children and attends St. Thomas More Co-Cathedral parish.
Matt handles numerous aspects of the operations at Vianney Vocations, including editing, publications, and book design. Matt came to Vianney Vocations in 2015 with a background in journalism. As a newspaper sports editor, he covered athletics and handled writing and design for the sports section of the Statesboro Herald in Statesboro, GA. His previous pastor, Fr. Brett Brannon, is the author of To Save a Thousand Souls, and introduced Matt to the Vianney Vocations team. Matt loves working with priests and religious from across the country, and is grateful for the opportunity to help young men and women discern God’s call. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Georgia Southern University. Go Eagles!

Social Media Manager
Beth is an active participant in the Catholic online community, managing Twitter and Facebook pages for Vianney Vocations since 2011. After being Confirmed in 2003, she spent time discerning religious life, talking with and visiting religious communities, when she heard the call to marriage. She is passionate about using social media to reach the faithful, to stir hearts to consider God’s call in their lives. Beth lives in an 1877 farm house outside of Lafayette, Indiana, with her husband, Joshua, and their six children, whom she homeschools. In her spare time, she likes to cook and bake, travel, and (as a native Michigander), she follows the Tigers and Red Wings.
